A new week often brings new burdens, tasks undone, troubles we didn’t expect, and weariness we didn’t plan for. Yet how good it is to remember that our sufficiency is not found in what we can manage, but in the grace of Christ that never fails. Paul discovered that the thorn he wished away became the very means by which he learned to rest in divine power.
So as you begin this Monday, take courage. The same Lord who called you out of darkness still walks beside you in the daylight of ordinary duties. His grace is as fresh as the morning dew and as sure as His word. Lean into Him today not because you are strong, but because He is.
“The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.” — Psalm 29:11
